Associate Lawyer (Full Time | Huntsville, Ontario)

About the Role

We are currently seeking an Associate Lawyer with at least three years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate must be interested exclusively in solicitor work with a focus on Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and Wills and Estate Administration. This role requires a commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and the ability to create strong and lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, community stakeholders, and staff.

    • Minimum three years of work experience in Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and Wills and Estate Administration

    • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

    • Trust and Estates Practitioner (TEP) Certification considered an asset

    • Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure

    • Ability to manage files and direct staff independently and respectfully

    • Team oriented with a commitment to collaborative work

    • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

    • Strong research and drafting skills

    • Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality

    • Interest in engaging with community stakeholders and service organizations

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Word; familiarity with industry software such as Teranet, Unity, Estate A Base, and Appara is an asset

    • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    • Location: 6 Main Street West, Huntsville, Ontario

    • This is an in office position with limited availability for remote work when necessary
